The painting was made with an acrylic monochrome background and oil paints on canvas and depicts a Christian soldier, fully armored, prayerful, and confident in his firm embrace of the word of God in his life and the power this word has to fight against all evil spirits that are encountered. This spiritual power protects the Christian soldier and, at the same time, actively confronts the evil spirits on the battlefield of the soldier’s mind (Ephesians 6:10-20 & 2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

The Christian soldier who is fully armored with God’s power is well prepared for the Christian Spiritual Battle with an assortment of weapons and defenses. It is not a carnal battle but a spiritual battle against the evil powers and forces that Christians who have put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) encounter in their daily lives. Because these weapons are powerful, Christians have the capability of overcoming and defeating their evil foe.
