My main body of work consists of saints, and archangel Michael was the first of this series. This was also my first piece drawn entirely with colored pencil, taking about 10 hours total to complete. To me it represents overcoming my own spiritual battle with addiction and signifies the beginning of my new life in Christ.

St. Michael wears the full armor of God and represents victory over the spiritual forces of evil.
